Don’t Lose Your Dreams: What are dreams?
Discover practical ways to stay motivated and never lose sight of your dreams. Learn how to stay focused, inspired, and keep moving forward.

Here I have answered few prevalent questions which people ask about their dreams:
What is a dream?
A dream is the picture God shows you regarding your future. This usually happens when you are reading the Word. When you read the Word the Holy Spirit gives a revelation. The Word you read will become real to you. In fact this word will becomes so real that it will overtake and overpower you. It will be like you have heard God. This Word will
When the dream starts?
A dream usually starts when you accept Jesus Christ. The day you do this your spirit is born again. With the Holy Spirit it is easy for you to receive the dream. In Paul’s life the dream and the purpose started on the day he met Jesus.
Acts 26: 16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things, which you have seen, and of the things, which I will yet reveal to you.
How is the dream formed? What is our role in the dream?
A dream is the heavenly blueprint for the earthly good. We need to download it through the Holy Spirit. Like a fire it starts with a spark. But our responsibility is to supply fuel to it. Then the fire will spread and engulf our whole life.
How we know that the dream is from God?
When God gives you a dream, He ensures that you have no confusion about who is the source of it. In fact He will talk multiple times and through many signs he will prove to you that it is He who is behind it. You will know it beyond an iota of doubt.
Also we can understand the dream by the way we react to it. Through the life of Nehemiah we learn something in this line. Travellers from Judah told him that the compound wall in Jerusalem was broken and its gates are burnt. This news upset him so much that he sat down and wept, mourned and fasted for many months. This incident catapulted him into a different arena altogether. Today we remember Nehemiah for the walls he constructed.
Nehemiah 1:4 So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.
